Victory in the U.S. Fifth Circuit
In October 2011, the Firm successfully defended a broker-dealer, Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc., in an auction-rate case brought by individual investors. The case was one of the first of its kind to be tried in the country. Plaintiffs appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and the case was argued in September 2012.
