Firm Protects A Client’s Recovery From Claims By Former Owners

The Firm successfully defended a local partnership against claims brought by several former partners who sought to share in a multi-million dollar recovery by the partnership. 

In briefing that the arbitrator described as “detailed and thoughtful,” Stephen Kupperman successfully argued that the partnership agreement and accounting customs foreclosed the claims of the former partners, even though the recovery represented proceeds that might have been earned during the former partners’ tenure.
