Judy Barrasso Awarded “Best in Litigation” and Firm Awarded “Best in US South” at the 2014 Euromoney LMG Women in Business Law Awards

The firm is proud to announce that Founding Member Judy Barrasso was recognized for the “Best in Litigation” category at the 2014 Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Awards held on June 5, 2014 at the Essex House Hotel in New York. Judy was one of only eight women nominated in the nation for this category. In addition to Judy's award, the firm was awarded the “Best in US South” regional award. Barrasso Usdin was one of only eight firms to be nominated in the southern region. The firm is honored to have been chosen among so many great firms in our region, and we are very proud of Judy and her accomplishments.

The Euromoney LMG Americas Women in Business Law awards ceremony recognizes the best women lawyers in each practice area, in addition to firm awards that celebrate the best initiatives for gender diversity, innovation, minority women, mentoring, work-life balance, pro bono work and talent management. The individuals and firms nominated for the awards are based on preliminary research and submissions. Euromoney LMG reviews preliminary research and submissions from law firms when selecting candidates for the nominations. The nominees are judged on their professional accomplishments over the last 12 months, as well as advocacy and influence within their practice area.
