Partner Craig Isenberg to Present on Recent Trends in Louisiana Chemical Exposure Cases
On September 22, 2016, Partner Craig Isenberg will present on “Recent Trends in Louisiana Chemical Exposure Cases,” at an Environmental Law CLE hosted by the Federal Bar Association.
Craig’s presentation will cover the following topics, among others:
- Does the defendant have the burden of proof?
- Is scientific evidence needed to prove causation?
- Can fear of future injury be established by a plaintiff’s lay testimony without a supporting scientific basis?
- How are general damages to be calculated and do objective measures of harm, such as medical expenses and missed work, factor into the calculation?
