Nicolas ("Nic") M. Cotten practices in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith, employment law, and environmental and toxic tort. He has a strong analytical background and is committed to delivering effective strategies for his clients. His work is informed by a broad academic foundation.

Nic earned his Juris Doctor of Comparative Law, Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Order of Coif at Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Nic also holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching, and Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana State University. During law school, Nic served on the Journal for Social Justice and Policy.
