Ryan P. Simoneaux focuses his practice on commercial litigation and insurance coverage and bad faith matters.
Ryan earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts in History magna cum laude from Louisiana State University. While in law school, Ryan served as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and worked as both a research assistant and teaching assistant. He also completed judicial externships with the Honorable Jane Triche Milazzo and the Honorable Darrel Papillon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Ryan is a board member of the Forum For Equality Foundation. He is also a member of the St. Thomas More Inn of Court, the Federal Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the LGBTQ+ Bar Association. While in law school, Ryan served as President of the Federal Bar Association Loyola Student Chapter and Secretary for Lambda Law Alliance. He also participated as a competitor and staff member for the Danny and Mary Becnel Trial Advocacy Program.
