Neal P. Goulas v. Charles P. LaGreca, Jr., et al.
The Firm successfully represented LaGreca Services in a Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) lawsuit. A former employee of LaGreca filed suit against the company, asserting claims for unpaid overtime, wrongful termination, liquidated damages, and attorney's fees under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The trial court dismissed plaintiff’s claims after a bench trial, rejecting the former employee’s claims that the compensation scheme at issue violated the FLSA. The United States Fifth Circuit affirmed the judgment on appeal.
