Barrasso Usdin Welcomes Two New Associates
Barrasso Usdin Kupperman Freeman & Sarver is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates.
David A. Becker joined the firm in February as an associate, and practices in the fields of commercial litigation, and insurance coverage and bad faith. David received a Bachelor of Science summa cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor summa cum laude from The George Washington University Law School. Prior to joining the firm, David was an associate in the appellate practice group at Vinson & Elkins, LLP in Austin, Texas. David joined Vinson & Elkins after clerkships with Judge William Wayne Justice of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and Judge Fortunato P. Benavides of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Michelle M. Rutherford joined the firm in November as an associate, and focuses her practice in the areas of product liability, toxic tort, and commercial litigation. Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Denver and her Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was a managing litigation associate with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco, where she focused on commercial litigation, contract disputes, products liability, antitrust, and white collar defense. Prior to joining Orrick, Michelle served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Barbara Madsen of the Washington Supreme Court.
