Barrasso Breeze Competes in the New Orleans Bar & Grille Cooking Competition Benefiting Southeast Louisiana Legal Services

On Sunday, March 23rd, Barrasso Usdin participated in The New Orleans Bar & Grille law firm cooking competition organized by the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association.

The event, held at City Park’s Peristyle, included live music, food, and drinks and was open to the general public. The 17 law firms participating in the cook-off prepared their own meals, decorated their booth, and competed for the following award categories: Best Local Favorite, Best Dessert, Most Creative, Best Booth Decoration, Crowd Favorite, and Best Overall.

All proceeds from the event were donated to Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, a nonprofit law firm that provides legal services to the poor. Barrasso Usdin’s team, “Barrasso Breeze,” kicked off their first year participating in the competition with a luau theme. Barrasso Breeze’s menu consisted of Cajun Fried Shrimp Tacos with Jalapenos, 7-Layer Fiesta Parfait, and Fresh Fruit Kabobs with Chocolate Drizzle. We are very proud of our team members – Andrew J. Graeve, Kimberly R. Silas, Jay Stafford, and Jordan Ollestad – for doing such a fantastic job. All who attended had a great time, and it was for a good cause.
