Partner Celeste Coco-Ewing Named to CityBusiness’ Women of the Year List

The firm is pleased to announce that Celeste Coco-Ewing has been named to the 2016 CityBusiness "Women of the Year" list. CityBusiness has chosen fifty women to be honored this year for their professional and community achievements. The Women of the Year will be honored at an awards luncheon on November 3, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The honorees will also be featured in a special insert in the November 11th issue of CityBusiness

Celeste Coco-Ewing is a partner in the firm and focuses her practice on complex litigation, with a special emphasis on product liability and toxic tort cases.  She has represented clients across a variety of industries, including medical device, industrials, manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, and consumer products. Her trial work contributed to 6 defense verdicts in jury trials in federal multidistrict litigation and state court proceedings. 

Celeste has been recognized by Best Lawyers in the fields of Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort Litigation, by Louisiana Super Lawyers as one of the top 25 women lawyers in the State of Louisiana, and by Benchmark Litigation as a “Future Star.” 

She serves on the Board of the Newcomb College Alumnae Association and as Immediate Past Chair the Board of Directors of KIDsmART, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children through the arts. She has previously served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Federal Bar Association and as Editor-in-Chief of the Newsletter of Commercial & Business Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association.
