Firm Secures Outright Win for Client, FINRA Award Denying All Claims

George C. Freeman, III and Robert J. Dressel recently secured a victory for the co-founder and former CEO of the claimant broker-dealer following a three-week FINRA arbitration.  The claimant sought an award of approximately $34.7 million—plus over $1 million in attorneys’ fees and unspecified punitive damages—in connection with an alleged breach of contract and raid of several former employees, who resigned from the claimant broker-dealer to work elsewhere after the firm’s client was terminated.  After a full hearing, the panel issued an award denying the claims in their entirety and fully vindicating the firm’s client.
