Chloé Chetta to Present at Second Annual Removal and Remand Bootcamp

On Thursday, May 28, 2020, Chloé M. Chetta will be presenting at the New Orleans Bar Association’s “Second Annual Removal and Remand Bootcamp” CLE, virtually hosted by NOBA’s Complex Litigation and Products Liability Committees. Chloé joins four experienced litigators in discussing recent cases impacting federal removal and remand, including the United States Fifth Circuit’s approval of pre-suit or “snap” removal and expansion of federal officer removal, among other complex issues.

Chloé’s practice focuses on complex and commercial litigation, covering a variety of substantive topics, including toxic tort/environmental law, securities and financial industry litigation, employment law, constitutional law, and insurance coverage and bad faith.  Chloé also enjoys regularly representing clients in complex appellate matters.

Before joining the firm, Chloé served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen A. Higginson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and as a law clerk to the Honorable Sarah S. Vance of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. During law school, Chloé interned with the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit.
