Judy Barrasso Presented on the American Law Institute's Restatement of the Law of Liability Insurance
On Thursday, January 21, 2021, Judy Barrasso presented on "ALI Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance" for a regional symposium organized by American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) and National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC). Judy was joined by three other panelist for the presentation and a Q&A session. The panel reviewed the Restatement's differences from applicable law in seven southern states. They also reviewed sample cases in each of the states and discussed conflicts between the Restatement's provisions and state law.
